In early 2025, UKM RADE ITB STIKOM Bali again participated in the Electrical and Computer Competition (ELCCO) 2025 robotics competition organized by Electrical Engineering, Udayana University. This competition is a prestigious event for engineering students to show their abilities in the fields of robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), and technology poster design.
In the competition which took place with the peak event on March 14-15, 2025, UKM RADE sent a total of 7 teams, consisting of 3 teams for the Sumobot competition, 2 teams for the Internet of Things (IoT) competition, 2 teams for the Poster competition.
- The Internet of Things (IoT) competition, on March 5, 2025, a paper selection was carried out to determine the teams that were entitled to advance to the presentation stage, one team that successfully qualified for the final stage with a project entitled “Hybrid Temulawak Drying System”. This team then presented their innovation on March 14-15, 2025 and managed to achieve 6th place overall.
- Sumobot Competition, the Sumobot competition begins with a group stage system, where each team competes in a group phase to determine who qualifies for the knockout round and one team that successfully qualifies from the group phase as the group runner-up. The team then competes in the round of 16 (Round of 16)
- Poster Competition, two teams from RADE participated in the poster competition, this participation became a valuable experience to improve their abilities in technology poster design competitions.

The participation of UKM RADE ITB STIKOM Bali in ELCCO 2025 became a very valuable experience in honing skills and innovation in the field of technology. The achievement of the IoT team with the “Hybrid Temulawak Drying System” project which successfully entered the top 6, as well as one Sumobot team that was able to qualify from the group phase to the round of 16, is a step forward that shows the great potential of ITB STIKOM Bali students in technology competitions.
UKM RADE will continue to be committed to improving the quality and readiness of the team in facing the next competition, both in the fields of robotics, IoT, and other technological innovations.
