UKM HIMATOGRAPHY’s Night of Familiarity Building Togetherness in the Nuance of ‘Asrā On Saturday – Sunday, March 1 – 2, 2025, UKM HIMATOGRAPHY held a Night of Familiarity. MAKRAB or Night of Familiarity is an annual activity of UKM HIMATOGRAPHY which aims to establish familiarity and strengthen solidarity between members, this year we took the theme “Asrā” which means a place of shelter, residence, or home. More than just a place, “Asrā” symbolizes togetherness and a sense of belonging in HIMATOGRAPHY. This Makrab is not only a gathering place, but also a safe space where each member can be themselves, share stories, and build stronger bonds. The event took place at Cemara Camp, Banjar Kembang Merta, Candikuning, Baturiti, Tabanan Regency, Bali. Attended by more than 30 participants from UKM HIMATOGRAPHY members, both from new and senior generations. This activity began with an opening session from the General Chairperson of UKM HIMATOGRAPHY, I Kadek Arya Rama Suryadinatha and the Chairperson of the HIMATOGRAPHY 2025 MAKRAB Committee, Rizki Juliansyah who conveyed the importance of togetherness and solidarity in an organization.
Various interesting agendas have been arranged to strengthen the bonds between members, such as the Introduction Session and Ice Breaking aimed at breaking the ice and introducing new members to old members through various interactive games, then Photography Hunting, in this session members have the opportunity to hone their photography skills by capturing moments at the selected location. Then there is a Sharing Session and Journey in HIMATOGRAPHY, in this session several senior members share their experiences and their journey while joining UKM HIMATOGRAPHY, then there are games and campfire events.

Overall, MAKRAB HIMATOGRAPHY 2025 was a success and left a deep impression on all participants. This event is not only an introduction event, but also a forum to build closer relationships between members. It is hoped that through this activity, HIMATOGRAPHY will become more solid and continue to develop into a creative, supportive, and innovative community in the field of photography.
