DENPASAR – The STIKOM Bali Group National Working Meeting was held for two days, February 1-2, 2025. The National Working Meeting was attended by 76 participants from 23 institutions to discuss a number of issues in the 2025 work program.
ITB STIKOM Bali Rector Dr. Dadang Hermawan said that the main challenge faced is increasing the number of students. He said that the competition between higher education institutions is currently quite tight so that new programs need to be offered to the public.
Dadang said that the new program that is focused on is the development of Prior Learning Recognition (RPL), making ITB STIKOM Bali a Dual Degree campus and exploring going international.
“We want to bring in foreign students to ITB STIKOM Bali, this is an opportunity to bring in foreign exchange by having them study here. This program is also related to the Dual Degree campus so that students do not have to study for a long time in another country,” said Dadang.
In 2024, STIKOM Bali Group earned a business turnover of IDR 137 billion with a net profit of IDR 19 billion. Assets managed are worth IDR 271.8 billion. Meanwhile, the valuation value for the ITB STIKOM Bali campus in Renon reached IDR 1.5 trillion.

“We are holding this National Working Meeting to create a new system and SOP for the next management. However, we want to continue to exist and what we do will be a legacy for the next successor,” said Dadang.
Chairperson of the Widya Dharma Shanti Foundation, Prof. I Made Bandem added that to face the competition, the Foundation must provide adequate infrastructure support. He saw that laboratory facilities must be built and equipped with complete and up-to-date equipment.
“Both laboratories in higher education institutions and in vocational schools under the auspices of the foundation, that is our concern,” said Made Bandem, the dance maestro and cultural figure from Bali also said that when the largest IT campus in Bali Nusra was first established, there were not many similar campuses and programs that had been developed.
