Denpasar – Fantastic Youth Innovative Competition or commonly known as FYNCI, is back this year. As of 2020, the implementation of FYNCI is now in its third year. It is a replacement event for the previous event, namely Siscom and is an annual event organized by HIMAPRODI SI (Student Association of ITB STIKOM Bali Information System Study Program), this year FYNCI carries the theme “Show Your Skill and Get The Best Experience”.
Different from previous years, FYNCI 2022 is part of the STIKOMFEST series of events. FYNCI 2022 presents two competitions, namely the 2021 PES Competition and the UI/UX Design Competition with the student/general category. This activity was carried out for five days, starting with a PES competition with a group phase system which was held on 1-2 August 2022. Then continued with a knockout system until the final on 4 August 2022. This PES competition was held at the ITB STIKOM Bali Renon campus, with a total of 128 participants.
Meanwhile, the UI/UX design competition was held fully online with the theme “Preserving Culture Through Information Technology”. With the adoption of this theme, it is hoped that the participants can be more daring to express ideas or innovations in combining culture with information technology in order to preserve culture in the era of information technology. Inviting two judges, namely M. Azman Maricar and Aulia Nadila as assessors of UI/UX design works. The competition system begins with the collection of works, then continues with the selection of works. From a total of 90 participants, 5 participants with the highest scores made it to the final round and made an online presentation on August 8, 2022
