Denpasar – I Gusti Ngurah Gana Untaran and Ida Ayu Natasha Padma Dewi Paranggi were finally crowned as the Putra Putri Kampus of the ITB STIKOM Bali in 2022 in the grand final for the Putra – Putri Kampus of the ITB STIKOM Bali which was held at the Darma Negara Alaya Cultural Center, Lumintang, Denpasar, Saturday, July 23, 2022. I Gusti Ngurah Gana Untaran and Ida Ayu Natasha Padma Dewi Paranggi set aside 9 other male and female pairs of ITB STIKOM Campus in the grand final. Both of them became the brand ambassadors of ITB STIKOM Bali for the next year.
“I feel very proud and it is an honor for me and my family. Finally, my struggle for almost three months has not been in vain,” said Dayu, with tears in her eyes, holding back emotion.
The first child of two children from the marriage of Ida Bagus Angga Paranggi and Ida Ayu Made Martutidewi admitted that he was ready to carry out his duties as brand ambassador of ITB STIKOM Bali for the next year while preparing himself to take part in similar events at a higher level. Dayu, who has a hobby of cooking, is a graduate of SMAN 1 Tabanan and recently joined ITB STIKOM Bali in 2021, taking the Digital Business Study Program.
I Gusti Ngurah Gana Untaran felt the same feeling. “I feel very surprised and proud, finally I can come this far,” said Gana, his nickname. Gana, who is the son of I Gusti Ngurah Budi Pertama and Ida Ayu Asri Wiadnyani Gana, who graduated from SMKN 1 Denpasar, also recently joined ITB STIKOM Bali in 2021 by taking the Information Systems Study Program.
Out as Runner Up 1 are I Kadek Krisna Sanjaya and Pudja Hardiansyah. While Runner Up 2 was won by I Gusti Agung Krisna Dipayana and I Gusti Ayu Putu Panca Dewi. Ananda Aditya Surya and Ni Komang Ratih Tribanowati won for the men and women category at ITB STIKOM Bali Campus, while the talented ITB STIKOM Bali students won by I Gede Suartama and Dyah Pradnya Trisna Irsyadina. What’s interesting when the announcement of one of the prestigious awards, namely the most favorite ITB STIKOM Bali Campus, the MC said that this award was won by Oka Sudana and Pande Komang Ayu Yunia Putri. The truth is, for the daughter, Dewa Ayu Erin Melia Putri won.
The 2022 Putra Putri Kampus Committee for ITB STIKOM Bali Putu Shakila Ayunia Yuana reported that this year’s activity involved 28 pairs of male and female participants. After going through the first selection stage on May 23, 2022, 15 pairs of boys and girls were selected, then in the second selection on May 24, 2022, they were screened again to determine 10 pairs to advance to the grand final. But before going to the grand final, they underwent a quarantine period in order to receive briefing materials on public speaking, information technology and culture, modeling, photo shoots, visits to social institutions and others.
“This Campus Putra Putri event is a place to train myself for ITB STIKOM Bali students in many ways because what is required is brain, beauty and attitude,” said Shakila.
Rector of ITB STIKOM Bali, Dr. Dadang Hermawan in his speech said that this event had been held several times by the Student Senate assisted by UKM. “This activity is closely related to adding insight and making us more confident because it is very useful for the progress of ITB STIKOM Bali. One of them, we continue to encourage this activity to go up again to the national level, in the context of the internationalization of ITB STIKOM Bali so that we can be recognized as an international standard university, although the conditions are rather difficult because there must be professors and foreign students. But that did not dampen our enthusiasm for campus internationalization. Second, it is highly expected that the opening of the Master of Computer Masters Study Program is currently in the Ministry of Education. There is already the second of the three repair opportunities provided. The next activity is the 20th Anniversary and ITB STIKOM Bali Grand Reunion, the highlight of which will be on August 13, 2022 at Pandawa Beach,” said Dadang Hermawan.
The supervisor of the Widya Dharma Shanti Foundation in Denpasar – the parent of ITB STIKOM Bali – Prof. Dr. I Made Bandem, MA, in his speech said that the final momentum for the Putra Putri Kampus of the ITB STIKOM Bali today is a historic day because for the first time, the Balinese Hindu version of Valentine’s Day is celebrating. Unlike Valentine’s Day which is usually celebrated with loved ones, this Balinese version of Valentine’s Day emphasizes every human being to love the universe and its contents.
