The Traditional Dance Student Activity Unit of ITB STIKOM Bali has participated in the Piodalan Agung Saraswati Campus Activity. The participation was carried out on Saturday, February 8, 2025 which took place at the Renon Campus of ITB Stikom Bali. Saraswati Day is an important day for Hindus, especially for those in the world of education because Hindus believe that Saraswati Day is the descent of sacred knowledge to humanity for prosperity, progress, peace, and increasing the civilization of humanity. Saraswati Day is celebrated every six months, precisely on the day of Saniscara Umanis wuku Watugunung. This participation was attended by several members of the Traditional Dance UKM with Putu Setyarini, S.Sn., M.Sn as the trainer and Mentor of the Traditional Dance UKM. In preparation for the implementation of this activity, a meeting was held with the management of the Tabuh and Traditional Dance UKM, the meeting was held offline which took place at the Arts & Culture Lab of the Renon Campus of ITB STIKOM Bali. The results of the discussion from the meeting we will present the Rejang Sari Dance.
The initial preparation that we did in implementing the Campus Activity Participation (Piodalan Saraswati) activity was by preparing a dance. To solidify the dance before the performance, we did a rehearsal and prepared the equipment needed for the performance.
The implementation of the Campus Activity Participation (Piodalan Agung Saraswati) event that we held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, which took place at the Renon Campus of ITB STIKOM Bali. From the “Campus Activity Participation (Piodalan Agung Saraswati)” activity, we can establish close cooperation between the Management and Members of fellow ITB STIKOM Bali Student Organizations and increase the creativity of ITB STIKOM Bali students.
