Denpasar – Salam Lestari! Advanced Education (Dikjut) Mapala Kompas STIKOM Bali is an activity that is routinely held by UKM Mapala Kompas STIKOM Bali for members to choose one of the divisions in UKM Mapala Kompas STIKOM Bali. The purpose of this activity is to select the membership division of the SME Mapala Kompas STIKOM Bali every year.
This activity was held on 24 – 26 April 2022 at Br. Tabu, Songan Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency, Bali. The head of the committee I Komang Krisna Raharja explained, “We hope that the young members of Mapala Kompas STIKOM Bali can deepen their knowledge during this Dikjut rolex replique montre according to their respective divisions, which aims to make Mapala Kompas STIKOM Bali has better regeneration and can pass on the knowledge and lessons they learned during this Dikjut period to young members who will join Mapala Kompas STIKOM Bali later”.
Although the pandemic had hindered the activities of the event, it did not break the enthusiasm of the organizers and participants. The committee is still trying to ensure that this Advanced Education is carried out for members of Mapala Kompas STIKOM Bali who do not yet have a division. At Mapala Kompas STIKOM Bali there are two divisions, namely the Mountain Forest Division and the Rock Climbing Division. In the Mountain Forest Division, the material studied is land navigation, while the Rock Climbing Division learns about basic climbing materials, climbing systems, cues in climbing, climbing equipment, SRT practices, Top Rope practices and Free Climbing practices.
The Advanced Education Mapala Compass STIKOM Bali was attended by 17 participants, 13 of them chose the Mountain Forest Division and the remaining 4 participants chose the Rock Climbing Division. On the first day, the participants started the activity by reviewing material from each division where the Mountain Forest Division reviewed the materials and tools used in navigating and the Rock Climbing Division reviewed materials on the tools used in Rock Climbing, exercises to make knots and snares that will be used in Rock Climbing exercises and learn the basic cues in Rock Climbing and then proceed with giving practical material to participants. The Rock Climbing Division climbs the Songan cliffs with guidance and direction from experts in their fields. Meanwhile, the Mountain Forest Division carried out the practice of aiming using a compass. The activity is carried out from 08.00 – 18.00 WITA.
On the second day, the participants from the Mountain Forest Division got maximizing material to find the coordinates using a board that was used as a reference for the shooting point that had been prepared by the presenters and the committee, while the Rock Climbing division got top rope material, and mooring material.
After participating in the activities on the first and second days, on the last day the participants took part in the games from the committee. The games consist of transfer webbing, turning the mat, and volleyball. This game activity was attended by participants, representatives of invited guests, namely UKM Himatography. After playing the games, the participants performed the MCK and dismantled the tent and then proceeded to clean the camp area. Before going home, the participants and the committee had a meal together. Salam Lestari!
