JIMBARAN-The STIKOM E-Sports Championship 2022 (SESC 2022) series of activities have been carried out on 20, 21 and 23 April 2022 which were held at ITB Stikom Bali Jimbaran Campus and Lippo Mall Kuta SESC 2022. This event was organized by HIMAS Jimbaran in collaboration with the e community – sport EDEN.
This activity carries the theme “No one can stop. Get your game on!” and implemented in a hybrid (online and offline). The total teams registered as participants in this activity were 53 teams with details of 24 teams in the Mobile Legend category and 29 teams in the PUBG Mobile category.
The Chairperson of the SESC 2022 Committee said that with this activity, it is hoped that game activists in Bali Province can measure their abilities with SESC as a competition stage. “We also hope that this activity can foster a spirit of competition for the participants and provide views on the development of cheap IWC replicas in the world of E-Sports in Indonesia, especially in Bali. SESC is also intended to introduce and make the name of the ITB STIKOM Bali Campus to the E-Sports stage in Indonesia, especially in Bali,” said the Chair of the 2022 SESC Committee.
The SESC activity lasted for three days. The first day, 20 April 2022, the Mobile Legend category qualification was held online by participants. In this round there were 8 teams that qualified for the next round, namely the quarter-finals or the last eight.
On the second day, April 21, 2022, the PUBG Mobile category qualification was also held online by participants. In this round there were 16 teams that made it through to the final round. The third or last day on 23 April 2022 was the final round and the Awarding Night was held offline at Lippo Mall Kuta and was attended by 8 Mobile legend teams, 16 PUBGM teams and invitees from ITB Stikom Bali.
The highlight of the SESC activities, namely the final and awarding night, went smoothly and lively. This cannot be separated from the performances given by DOS and SBMC as performers in entertainment shows. With the end of the series of SESC peak events on April 23, 2022, SESC 2022 activities will also end.
